Our main service of the week is on a Sunday morning at 11am. Over a month this service takes the form of three different styles. This may vary during the current vacancy while we wait to appoint a new Vicar.
calendar_today1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays of the month
This service includes hymns, prayers, a sermon and we share bread and wine together though the Eucharist (Holy Communion). Refreshments are served after the service.
calendar_today2nd Sunday of the month
Growing Together is a more relaxed style of service. Tea, coffee, juice and cake are served from 10.40am, before the service starts. There is something for all ages at this service, and we regularly have three or even four generations of the same family coming along together. Songs are a mixture of traditional hymns and more modern songs. There are prayers, activities to make us think, and the children go out to the Lady Chapel for special activities whilst the adults stay in church for an interactive sermon. The aim of this service is that all generations are able to learn and grown together in their faith.
All Age Holy Communion
calendar_today4th Sunday of the month
This service is similar to Holy Communion on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays of the month, however the prayers and words we use in the service are a little more accessible to children. There is still lots of singing, prayers, a sermon and we share bread and wine together. Refreshments are served after the service.
Children are especially welcome at all our services, and we have books and colouring activities available for children during the service. However, if you feel you need a quiet space to take your child the Lady Chapel is always available, where you will be able to see the service through the glass window and hear it through the PA system.
Our Wednesday service takes place in the Lady chapel. It is a service of Holy Communion, with prayers and a short sermon. There is a small area of toys at the back of the Lady Chapel, and the congregation is usually made up of a mixture of young families and retired people. After the service there is time for coffee and a chat.
Lighthouse Café Church

access_time6.30pm (for refreshments), 7.00pm start
Lighthouse takes place once per month, on a Thursday evening. We meet in the Mission Hall, opposite Church. There is a relaxed feel to Lighthouse and we meet around tables with home baked cake and fresh coffee. The service takes the form of video clips, interactive activities, time to chat and time to reflect. We serve refreshments from 6.30pm, start the service at 7pm, and finish by 8pm; although as with any café you are free to come and go at any time you wish.
The dates for Lighthouse can be found on our calendar, and on our Facebook page. (Currently Suspended)
